What is permanent jewelry?

Permanent jewelry is a bracelet, hand chain, ring, anklet, or necklace that is custom-fitted and welded closed without a clasp. It's designed to be worn continuously and creates a seamless, elegant look. We also carry clasps for our clients who need the ability to take it off frequently.

How long does it take?

Each piece is custom-fitted for you. The welding process is quick and painless, with the most time spent selecting your chain. Upon arrival, you will first choose your chain and charms, after which we will review safety guidelines and proper chain care, custom fit the piece and then weld the jump ring on. The entire experience typically takes around 15 minutes from start to finish, however some pieces take a bit longer than others.

How long does it last?

With proper care, permanent jewelry can last for years! The welded connection is very secure. However, it can be removed if needed by simply cutting the chain.

Can I go through airport security?

Yes! Permanent jewelry is made from precious metals and won't set off metal detectors at airports or other security checkpoints.

What if I need to remove it?

While it's designed to be permanent, you can have it removed at any time by cutting the chain with scissors or nail clippers. We offer the option of adding a clasp for those who want high quality materials but want to the option to temporarily remove it with every custom piece. We also offer free re-welding if you need to remove it temporarily for medical procedures.

What metals do you offer?

We offer 14k gold filled and sterling silver chains in various styles and thicknesses to suit your preference. Please visit us in store or DM us to preorder solid gold chains. 

Can I shower and swim with it?

Yes! You can wear your permanent jewelry 24/7, including in the shower, pool, and ocean. However, we recommend removing it before activities that might put stress on the chain. We recommend avoiding hot springs. 

How do I take care of my piece?

Permanent jewelry is very low maintenance. The natural movement of your body helps keep the metals polished and shiny over time. Sweat, oils, and dirt can accumulate on the pieces, so it’s important to clean them gently using mild soap and a soft cloth or brush to avoid scratching. To preserve the finish, avoid direct contact with self-tanners, perfumes, lotions, and other chemicals.
